PokerRoom has teamed up with eSport-Poker to engage in league action team play.  This first season of Official eSport Leagues already underway has 3 Closed Leagues open only to players who qualified through a sponsor from the United Kingdom, Germany or Spain.

For everyone else, they have 3 Open Leagues (not open to players from the United Kingdom, Spain or Germany) that will compete over the next six weeks.  You can play in one or all of the Open Leagues with each team being charged a one-off administration fee of $50 per team (no matter how many players a team has up to 20 players maximum).

ESport Team Play essentially works online in two ways.  The first is a team of skilled players with a proven track record on the international circuit.  The second is freerolls organized on the Internet for the purpose of recruiting the best players.

Becoming the best team to beat out the others is the ESports Team Play challenge.

Because of this PokerRoom is offering their Canadian player’s a special bonus.  New and existing players from the site can take advantage of this opportunity. All the players have to do is use the variety of payment options available on PokerRoom.

Players have from now until November 30th to receive the bonus. A player must deposit money into their account through Moneybookers. Moneybookers is an e-wallet that provides a way of transferring money to any account in a secure way. The site offers several methods of transfer such as bank transfer, cheque and credit card.  Players who deposit through Moneybookers will receive a bonus of 200% up to a total of $1,000.
